Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice to cultivate and balance qi (pronounced approximately as "chee"), translated as "life energy".  Qigong practice typically involves moving meditation, coordinating slow-flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a calm meditative state of mind.  

Conor discovered Qigong many years ago on his healing path.  He instantly felt the benefits of the practice and was inspired to deepen his understanding of this ancient movement art form.

All levels of experience are welcome in class, which will include Taoist, Buddhist, and Medical Qigong.  The classes are a mix of stretches, self-massage, energetic cleansing and purges, flowing element-based sequences, and moving meditations, all designed to improve the circulation and flow of electricity, or qi in the body.  You will leave practice feeling energized, focused, less stressed, and deeply relaxed. 

Regularly scheduled classe are held at Green Light Reiki every Tuesday at 5:15pm

 

In addition to Qigong, Conor is passionate about swimming, running, yoga, snowboarding, golf, and hiking.
